Donating blood in music

Opéra national de Nancy-Lorraine

Because donating blood is a gesture of solidarity and sharing, the Opéra national de Lorraine is joining forces with the Établissement Français du Sang and opening its doors to you on Friday 7 March from 12 noon to 6pm.

The afternoon will be punctuated by intimate, tasty music provided by artists from the Opéra Orchestra for donors.

Mozartian refinement will be in the limelight. A light, gallant Divertimento will transform the donation room into an 18th-century salon for a moment, before the composer's great opera arias ring out on the flute and oboe. Mozart will then give way to an unusual duet, featuring the smallest instrument in the orchestra - the piccolo - and the largest - the double bass.

Come one, come all to this special donation session, with a view of the Opera's Italian-style Grand Hall!

This event is part of the Janvier de la solidarité.
