Voix nouvelles 2027

Launched in 1988 by the Centre français de promotion lyrique (now GénérationOpéra) and the France Télécom Foundation (now the Orange Foundation), the Voix Nouvelles competition has helped reveal numerous lyric artists who now perform on international stages. Notable among them are Natalie Dessay, Stéphane Degout, Karine Deshayes, Eva Zaïcik, and more recently Lauranne Oliva, all acclaimed on French lyric stages. In 2027, the Voix Nouvelles competition will return for its sixth edition, with preliminary rounds taking place in the majority of French opera houses. Each artist is invited to perform close to home before a jury composed of industry professionals.
