Conductor
Nicolas Chesneau
Narrator
Jean Hostache
For Halloween, the Opéra national de Nancy-Lorraine, transformed into a haunted house, invites audiences aged 5 and over to an evening of mystery, music and delicious chills. Under the baton of Nicolas Chesneau, the Orchestra and Chorus lead the audience through an adventure filled with apparitions, surprises and spine-tingling moments, devised by Jeanne Desoubeaux with narrator Jean Hostache. Fear becomes part of the fun: audiences will jump and peer into the shadows, intrigued by strange presences before bursting into laughter and wonder. Costumes, sets, lighting and a post-concert wander through the theatre extend the experience of an Opera House transformed for a Halloween night like no other. An evening for the whole family, bringing audiences close to the performers and turning the theatre into a vast castle filled with hidden secrets, blending suspense, fantasy and the delicious thrill of being scared.
