Programme 3 - Malón | Static Shot

For this final program of the season, Brussels-based Argentine choreographer Ayelen Parolin presents Malón, a piece for all the choreographic artists of CCN - Ballet de Lorraine. In Argentinian Spanish, the term malón refers to a large group of people who cause disorder. Ayelen imagines a crowd of performers driven by the desire to have fun, to be together in a spirit of solidarity, generosity and curiosity towards one another.

The second part of the program is a revival of Maud le Pladec's Static Shot. Buoyed by the success of its many touring performances, the dancers take you on a journey into the permanent ecstasy of this abundant piece, where movement never stops. An opportunity to (re)discover the artistic universe of Maud Le Pladec, future director of CCN - Ballet de Lorraine.
